SGMY’s Review of Shimbashi Soba Singapore
If you’re a fan of Japanese food, you should definitely try Shimbashi Soba Singapore. Their menu offers a wide range of delicious dishes that will satisfy any craving for authentic Japanese flavours. One of my top picks is the Seiro Soba. The chilled soba is refreshing, and the dipping sauce complements it perfectly. I always feel so satisfied after having it. Another dish I really enjoy is the Tempura Seiro. The tiger prawn and vegetable tempura are crispy and delicious, and they go really well with the cold soba.
If you like warm dishes, I highly recommend the Tempura Soba. The warm soup with tiger prawn tempura is comforting, especially on a rainy day. The Chicken Nanban Soba is also great, with tender chicken, mushrooms, and a soft-boiled egg in the soup. It’s so hearty and tasty. The Ten Don is another rice bowl I love. The crispy tiger prawn tempura and scrambled eggs on rice are absolutely delicious!
I also can’t forget about the Karaage Bento. The fried chicken with teriyaki salmon, rice, and sides is a great choice when you’re craving something filling. However, I wasn’t a huge fan of the Yasai Tempura, as the vegetables felt a bit too greasy for my liking. Other than that, everything I’ve tried at Shimbashi Soba has been really tasty.
Overall, Shimbashi Soba offers amazing dishes that will make you want to come back again and again. Whether you’re in the mood for soba, rice bowls, or bento, you’ll definitely find something you’ll enjoy.
