I recently visited Sukiya , and let me tell you, it was a delightful experience!
First off, their gyudon, especially the Melted Cheese Gyudon, was absolutely mouthwatering. The tender beef simmered in their secret sauce and topped with savory melted cheese was a flavor explosion in every bite.
Next, I tried their Beef Yakiniku Bowl, and it was equally delicious. The thick grilled beef paired perfectly with the sweet and savory yakiniku sauce, and the warm Japanese rice just added to the comfort of the dish.
But, I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with their Kimchi Gyudon. While the beef was cooked to perfection, the kimchi topping lacked the bold flavor I was expecting. It felt a bit bland compared to their other offerings.
Moving on to their Chicken Karaage Bowl, it was a definite winner! The juicy chicken karaage paired with the warm rice and half boiled egg was a match made in heaven. Each bite was bursting with flavor and left me wanting more.
Overall, Sukiya Singapore is definitely worth a visit for its flavorful and comforting Japanese rice bowl dishes.
