SGMY’s Review Of Bakalaki
I recently visited Bakalaki, a wonderful spot for Greek food in Singapore. The place feels like a slice of Greece, with a warm and cozy atmosphere.
I started with the Tzatziki and pita bread. The Tzatziki was creamy and refreshing, with just the right amount of garlic. The pita bread was soft and warm, perfect for dipping. Next, I had the Spanakopita, a flaky pastry filled with spinach and feta cheese. It was delicious and one of my favorites.
The Horiatiki salad was fresh and tasty, with tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese. It was light and full of flavor. The Moussaka was rich and satisfying, with layers of eggplant, minced meat, and creamy sauce.
I also tried the beef skewers, Kalamaki Merida. The beef was tender and grilled perfectly, and the Tzatziki added a nice creamy touch. The grilled octopus, Htapodi, was another highlight. It was tender and full of Mediterranean flavor.
For dessert, I had the Baklava. It was sweet and nutty, with lots of honey syrup. It was a perfect end to the meal.
However, I found the Fava a bit bland. It didn’t have the strong flavor I was expecting.
Overall, Bakalaki offers a great dining experience with its tasty Greek dishes and cozy feel. It’s a must-visit for anyone craving Mediterranean food in Singapore.
