Ayam Penyet Ria Singapore is definitely one of my go-to spots when I crave Indonesian food. Their menu offers a variety of dishes, but let me tell you about some of my favorites!
First, the Ayam Penyet is an absolute must-try. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It’s served with sambal that gives the right amount of spice and flavor. Every bite is so satisfying! Another dish I always order is the Ikan Penyet. The fish is grilled to perfection, soft and flavorful, and it pairs so well with the sambal.
If you’re in the mood for something a bit different, you should try the Tahu Tempe Penyet. The tofu and tempeh are perfectly fried and the sambal really enhances the taste. It’s a great option for vegetarians or anyone looking for a lighter meal.
I also love their Nasi Goreng. It’s flavorful, not too greasy, and has a nice balance of spices. It goes well with any of their meats or even just by itself.
However, I wasn’t as impressed with their Soto Ayam. While the soup itself was decent, the chicken felt a bit bland, and the flavors didn’t come together as well as I hoped. It wasn’t terrible, but compared to their other dishes, I thought it could use a bit more seasoning.
