I recently had the chance to try out Pastago Singapore, and I must say, their pasta dishes are a treat for the taste buds.
The Chili Crab Pasta is a standout with its spicy, sweet, and tangy sauce that gives you a good kick. It’s a clever twist on a local favorite, and while it doesn’t have actual crab meat, the flavor is spot-on.
If you’re into something creamy, the Truffle Cream Pasta is rich and umami-packed, definitely one of my favorites. The truffle adds a nice depth, making it a must-try for truffle lovers.
The Carbonara with Smoked Duck is another winner. The creamy sauce made with egg and cheese pairs beautifully with the smoky duck, making it a comforting and satisfying choice.
For a lighter option, the Aglio Olio with Sautéed Prawns is garlicky and spicy, just the way I like it. The prawns are succulent, adding a nice touch to the dish.
However, I felt that the Tomato Marinara with grilled chicken was a bit too tangy for my liking. The sauce is definitely tomato-packed, but it might be a bit overpowering for those who prefer a more balanced flavor.
