SGMY’s Review Of Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine Singapore
Hey friends! Let me tell you about my recent visit to Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine in Singapore. If you love bold and spicy flavors, this place is a must-try. The highlight for me was their Hunan Style Fried Pork. It’s their signature dish, and I can see why. The pork was delicious, with just the right amount of heat, and it went perfectly with a bowl of steamed rice.
Another favorite was the Antler Mushroom with Chicken. They simmer this dish for two hours, so the flavors really come together beautifully. The chicken was tender, and the mushrooms added a unique earthy taste.
For something different, I tried the Homemade Preserved Egg with Chili. The preserved egg was rich and flavorful, and the chili added a nice kick. It was a great cold dish to start the meal.
The Spicy Chicken, done Sichuan-style, was another hit. It’s deep-fried and packed with spicy goodness. If you love spicy food, you’ll enjoy this one.
The Pumpkin Soup with Tofu and Shrimp was a pleasant surprise. The soup was creamy and comforting, and the shrimp added a nice touch. It’s a perfect dish if you want something lighter.
The Fish Head Steamed with Chopped Chili is a must-try for seafood lovers. The fish was fresh and tender, and the chili gave it an exciting punch of flavor.
I also enjoyed the Bamboo Shoot Stir-fried with Bacon Pork. The bacon was crispy, and the bamboo shoots were perfectly cooked. It was a wonderful blend of textures and flavors.
However, not everything was perfect. The Sour Spicy Cucumber was a bit too tangy for my liking. It was still good, but it didn’t quite hit the mark compared to the other dishes.
Overall, Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine is fantastic for anyone who loves spicy and flavorful food. Give it a try, and let me know what you think!
