SGMY’s Review of Wild Coco Singapore
If you’re looking for delicious and authentic local flavors, Wild Coco Singapore is definitely a place to try! One of my absolute favorites is the Ayam Berempah Leg Nasi Lemak. The chicken leg is so tender and packed with flavor, and the sambal adds a nice kick. It pairs perfectly with the fragrant coconut rice and all the classic nasi lemak sides. Another must-try is the Sambal Sotong Nasi Lemak. The squid is perfectly cooked, and the sambal is so tasty that I can’t get enough of it.
For those who prefer a meatless option, the Nasi Lemak is a fantastic choice. The burnt green chili eggplant gives it a smoky flavor, and the coconut rice is just right. The Ayam Masak Merah is another dish I keep going back to. The chicken is cooked just right in the tangy, sweet, and spicy gravy – it’s absolutely comforting.
I also love their Fried Fish Nasi Lemak. The fish is crispy, and the combination with the coconut rice makes it a satisfying meal. The Awfully Otah is delicious as well, packed with mackerel fish for a strong, savory taste. And the Nasi Lemak Goreng is perfect if you’re in the mood for something fried – the coconut rice is full of wok hei, and the diced ayam berempah adds so much flavor.
However, I wasn’t a fan of the Claypot Sayur Lodeh. The vegetables were a bit too soft for my liking, and the flavors didn’t come together as well as I hoped. But overall, Wild Coco offers such a wide variety of dishes that you won’t be disappointed!
