SGMY’s Review of Una Una Singapore
I recently visited Una Una Singapore, and I must say, their unagi dishes are simply delightful. The Unagi Hitsumabushi is a standout, with the perfectly grilled eel on rice. The flavors are rich and comforting, and I loved the way the condiments added extra layers to the taste.
The Spicy Unagi Hitsumabushi is another great option if you prefer a bit of a kick. The spiciness complements the tender eel so well.
I also tried the Unagi Sushi Roll Set, which was fresh and tasty. The rolls had a nice balance of eel and rice, making each bite enjoyable.
The Unagi Kabayaki Set was another highlight, with the eel glazed beautifully in a sweet sauce that pairs perfectly with the rice.
However, I wasn’t as impressed with the Grilled Squid. While the squid was cooked nicely, I felt it lacked a bit of seasoning. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t quite stand out like the other dishes.
The Chicken Karaage was a pleasant surprise, though. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, it was a great appetizer to start the meal.
Overall, Una Una offers a wonderful dining experience for unagi lovers. The dishes are flavorful, and the variety on the menu ensures there’s something for everyone.
Despite the minor hiccup with the grilled squid, I’d definitely recommend giving Una Una a try if you’re in the mood for some delicious Japanese fare.
