SGMY’s Review of Tokyo Soba Singapore
Tokyo Soba is a fantastic place to satisfy your cravings for Japanese noodles. I recently visited, and I was eager to try their soba dishes.
I started with the Ebi Ten Soba, and it was a winner! The prawn tempura was crispy, and the light broth paired perfectly with the soba. I couldn’t get enough of it!
Next, I had the Tonkatsu Soba. The deep-fried pork cutlet was tender inside with a crunchy exterior. It was so delicious that I almost ordered a second bowl.
The Kaisen Kakiage Soba was another highlight for me. The mix of seafood tempura gave it a delightful crunch that made each bite enjoyable.
I also tried the Gyu Sukiyaki Soba, which was rich and hearty. The braised beef added so much flavor to the dish. It felt comforting, especially on a rainy day.
Another dish that impressed me was the 7 Types of Steamed Veg Soba. It was fresh and packed with a variety of vegetables that made the meal healthier.
However, I was a bit let down by the Kake Soba. While it was a traditional hot dish, the dashi broth could have used a little more depth in flavor. It felt a bit bland compared to the other rich dishes I tried.
Overall, my experience at Tokyo Soba was great! I loved most of the dishes and can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu. If you’re looking for delicious soba, this place is definitely worth a visit!
