SGMY’s Review of The Providore Singapore

The Providore Singapore is one of my favorite spots when I’m craving a good mix of pastries and mains. The first thing I have to mention is their Croissant – it’s just the perfect combination of buttery, flaky, and light. Every bite is a delight, especially when paired with a hot coffee.

The Pain Au Chocolat is equally amazing, with its rich chocolate filling oozing out in the most satisfying way.

For a more yummy treat, the Lobster Mac & Cheese is heavenly. The pasta is baked in a creamy cheese sauce and topped with tender lobster pieces, making every mouthful feel like pure comfort food.

Their Strawberry Shortcake is a must-try dessert. It’s fresh, light, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. I usually end my meal with this whenever I’m in the mood for something fruity and creamy.

Another good choice is the Slow Braised Lamb Shank. The lamb is cooked until it’s fall-off-the-bone tender, and the stew it’s served with is flavorful and hearty.

One item that didn’t quite meet my expectations was the Nicoise Salad. While the ingredients were fresh and vibrant, I found the tuna confit a bit too dry for my liking. A little more dressing or moisture would have elevated the dish.

But overall, The Providore knows how to deliver delicious food that’s both comforting and satisfying. It’s a great place for brunch, a quick coffee, or a leisurely meal with friends. I always leave happy and full!
