SGMY’s Review of Sourdough & Brew Singapore
If you’re looking for a perfect spot to enjoy delicious brunch in Singapore, Sourdough & Brew by Baking with Gina is a must-try. I recently had the chance to try a few items, and I have to say, I was impressed.
First up, the Ham-tastic bagel is a winner! The toasted bagel with ham and fresh veggies is light yet filling. It’s the kind of dish that makes you feel good after every bite. The Eggy Tom Bomb also caught my attention, especially with its fluffy eggs and fresh tomatoes. It’s simple, but the seasoning makes it a standout. If you’re craving something extra, the Eggstra Ham is for you. The scrambled eggs on a warm toasted bagel are so comforting, I could eat this every day.
As for the drinks, the Americano is a solid choice. It’s strong and smooth, just the way I like my coffee. The Latte, on the other hand, is creamy and just perfect for a cozy coffee break. I also tried the Genmaicha Latte, which was a refreshing blend of green tea and roasted rice. I enjoyed it, but I feel like the taste might not be for everyone. It’s a little too unique for my usual coffee preferences.
Lastly, the Matcha Latte was smooth and creamy, a great option for matcha lovers. Overall, I had a great experience, but I would say the Genmaicha Latte might not suit everyone’s taste. If you’re not a fan of unusual blends, you might want to skip it. Still, everything else was delicious, and I can’t wait to go back!
