SGMY’s Review of Koggii Singapore

Koggii Singapore is my go-to place whenever I crave Korean food. The variety on the menu always excites me, and there’s something comforting about the dishes here. Let me share my thoughts on a few items I tried recently.

First, the Andong Braised Chicken was fantastic. The chicken was tender and soaked in a rich, savory sauce with a hint of spice. The side dishes like tofu kimchi and cucumber kimchi gave a nice balance of freshness. I also enjoyed the Kangpoongi (Fried Chicken). It was perfectly crispy, and the sweet, savory glaze made it incredibly addictive. I couldn’t stop eating it!

The Pork/Chicken Grilled Bulgogi is another must-try. The meat was juicy and packed with smoky flavors, and pairing it with steamed cabbage was a smart touch. I also loved the Sweet Sour Chicken Fries & Korean Handmade Meatballs. The chicken fries were crispy with a tangy twist, and the handmade meatballs were tender and flavorful.

However, I wasn’t a big fan of the Choon Chun Dakgalbi. While the stir-fried chicken was flavorful, it felt a little too oily for my liking. It made the dish heavier than expected, which was a bit disappointing. But this might just be my personal preference!

That said, I really enjoyed the Pork Collar BBQ with Teriyaki Sauce. The pork collar was smoky and tender, and the sweet teriyaki glaze was just perfect. Lastly, the Pork Bulgogi with Kimchi Fried Rice was the ultimate comfort food. The bold flavors of the pork paired so well with the tangy fried rice.

Overall, Koggii Singapore offers delicious, hearty Korean meals that are worth trying. Most of the dishes left me happy and satisfied, and I’m already planning my next visit!
