SGMY’s Review of Rei Restobar Singapore
I recently visited Rei Restobar Singapore, and I must say, the food impressed me. The menu offers a great variety, and each dish feels thoughtfully crafted. Let me tell you about some of my favorites!
The Lobster Benedict was an absolute treat. The bamboo lobster, poached eggs, and miso hollandaise came together beautifully. It felt rich and indulgent, perfect for a special brunch. I also couldn’t get enough of the Shio Koji Wings. The crispy skin and flavorful glaze made them so addictive—I wanted more after every bite.
The Tiger Prawn Aglio Olio stood out with its perfectly cooked pasta and juicy prawns. The garlic flavor was strong but balanced, making it a comforting dish. For mains, the Wagyu Beef Striploin stole the show. It was tender, juicy, and cooked just right, paired wonderfully with roasted potatoes and arugula.
Desserts here are a must-try too. The Cinnamon Walnut Churros were crispy and sweet, with the dark chocolate sauce adding a delightful richness. If you love peanut butter and chocolate, the Peanut Choconana Parfait is like a dream—it’s creamy, sweet, and so satisfying.
However, not everything was perfect. I tried the Miso Mushroom Carbonara, and while it was creamy and flavorful, the miso flavor felt a bit overwhelming for me. It overpowered the pancetta and mushrooms, which I was looking forward to tasting more.
Overall, I loved the experience at Rei Restobar. The food is creative and delicious, and I’m already planning to go back to try more dishes. If you enjoy a mix of flavors and quality ingredients, this place is definitely worth a visit!
