SGMY’s Review of Pineyard Malaysia
Pineyard is a cozy spot that offers a mix of local and Western dishes, and it really impressed me with its variety.
One of my favorite dishes was the Big Breakfast. It’s a generous portion with chicken sausage, turkey ham, and sourdough toast with ginger kaya and butter, along with scrambled eggs and salad. It’s filling and full of flavor.
I also loved the Grilled Tartine. The sourdough is grilled perfectly, and the toppings of mushrooms, avocado, and poached egg make it both light and satisfying.
If you’re into pasta, the Salted Egg Pasta is a must-try. The salted egg sauce is creamy, and the tempura prawns add a nice crunch to the dish.
For a local touch, the Nasi Ayam Percik was fantastic. The grilled chicken was well-seasoned, and it paired nicely with the coconut kerabu and salted egg. It’s a dish that feels comforting and homely.
I also tried the Gula Melaka Latte, and it was a pleasant surprise. The sweetness from the palm sugar added a unique flavor to the coffee.
However, I felt that the Pumpkin Soup could use a little more seasoning. It was a bit bland compared to the other dishes I tried. That being said, Pineyard has a lot to offer, and the food is generally fresh and flavorful.
Overall, Pineyard is a great place to enjoy a wide range of dishes, whether you’re in the mood for something hearty or a bit lighter. I’d definitely recommend it!
