SGMY’s Review of Oud Restaurant Singapore
If you’re looking for a dining experience with creative and unique dishes, Oud Restaurant Singapore is worth a visit! I recently tried a variety of items from their menu, and most of them were simply amazing.
I started with the Caviar Cornets—they were delightful! The crispy cone filled with creamy goodness and topped with caviar was such a luxurious bite. I also loved the Truffle Panni Puri. It’s a clever twist on the classic puri, and the earthy truffle flavor really stood out. Another favorite of mine was the Grilled Octopus. It was perfectly tender and smoky, and the romesco sauce added a nice kick.
For something hearty, I tried the Squid Ink Seafood Paella, which was full of flavor. The fire-roasted prawns and octopus made it so satisfying. I also enjoyed the Firegrill Chicken Skewers. They were juicy, flavorful, and came with a refreshing herb salad.
For dessert, the Karak Teh Tarik Ice Cream really stole the show! It was served in a homemade waffle cone with a honey espuma on top—a perfect blend of creamy and sweet.
However, I wasn’t a big fan of the French Onion Soup. While the cheesy foam and toast were delicious, the soup itself felt a bit too sweet for my taste. But that’s just a personal preference!
Overall, I had a great time exploring the menu at Oud. The flavors, creativity, and quality really make it stand out. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the mood for something special!
