I recently visited Lola’s Cafe, and I must say, it’s a gem for anyone who loves good food in a cozy setting. The menu is diverse and caters to a variety of tastes.
One of my favorites was the Flourless Chocolate Cake with Ice Cream. The rich, 70% dark chocolate cake paired perfectly with the creamy cookies & cream ice cream. It was a decadent treat that I highly recommend.
Another standout dish was the Crab Cake Benedict. The handmade crab and prawn cake was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The poached eggs and miso hollandaise added a delightful richness. It’s a must-try for brunch lovers.
Lola’s Breakfast also impressed me. The combination of buttered sourdough, bacon steak, fennel pork sausages, scrambled eggs, roasted baby potatoes, and avocado was hearty and satisfying.
The Loaded Tater Tots are great for sharing. Topped with bacon bits, house-made smoked ketchup, sour cream, and spring onions, they were crispy and delicious.
