SGMY’s Review of La Nonna Singapore
If you’re in the mood for Italian food, La Nonna in Singapore is a fantastic choice! I recently visited, and I can’t wait to share my favorites.
First off, the Spaghetti Al Nero stole my heart. The squid-ink sauce was rich and flavorful, and the mixed seafood was super fresh. I also tried the Pizza Quattro Staggioni, which had a perfect balance of toppings—ham, artichokes, and mushrooms—each bite was a delight!
If you’re a risotto lover, the Risotto Allo Zafferano is a must-try. It’s creamy and comforting, with lovely saffron flavors and tender scallops that made it feel special.
Now, I have to mention the Tiramisu for dessert. It was heavenly—light and perfectly sweet. The Calamari is another winner, crispy and served with a delicious sauce that pairs wonderfully with the tender squid rings.
However, I did find the Ossobucco a bit on the salty side for my taste. While the meat was tender and the flavor was rich, the saltiness slightly overshadowed its natural taste. But overall, it’s still worth trying, especially if you enjoy hearty dishes.
Lastly, I can’t forget the Macaroni & Cheese Della Nonna. It was cheesy and satisfying, reminding me of a warm hug.
La Nonna has something for everyone, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I left with a happy tummy and a smile, ready to return for more delicious Italian dishes!
