anSGMY’s Review of Bumbu Restaurant Singapore

If you’re looking for bold and delicious flavors, Bumbu Restaurant in Singapore is definitely a place to check out. I absolutely love the Crispy Kang Kong Salad — it’s so fresh with the fried morning glory and the prawns give it that perfect crunch.

Another must-try is the Tom Yum Seafood Soup; it’s rich and creamy with the perfect balance of spice. The Beef Rendang is also amazing; the beef is tender and the spice mix is just right.

For something unique, the Buah Keluak Chicken is a real treat. The nutty sauce made from Buah Keluak fruit adds such a deep flavor to the dish, making it a standout. I can’t forget the Chilli Prawns, which are served with fried Mantous — the prawns are juicy, and the chili sauce is packed with flavor.

If you have a sweet tooth, try the Durian Chendol. It’s like a dream for durian lovers, with a rich, creamy durian flavor that adds a luxurious twist to the traditional dessert.

However, I didn’t enjoy the Thai Chilli Basil Tofu as much as I hoped. While it was spicy, the tofu was a bit too soft for my taste, and the flavors didn’t come together as well as I expected. Still, the other dishes more than made up for it, and I’ll definitely be going back to try more!
