I recently visited Awfully Chocolate Singapore, and I must say, it was a chocolate lover’s paradise! Almost everything I tried impressed me with its rich flavors and creative twists on classic desserts. Let me tell you more about my experience.
I started with the Original All Chocolate Freshly Fudged Slab, and it was incredible. The warm, fudgy texture melts in your mouth and makes you crave for more. It’s simple yet unforgettable. Then, I tried the 100% Awfully Chocolate Muah Chee, and I loved how they reinvented a traditional snack. The soft, chewy texture paired with dark chocolate and peanut soil was such a fun and delicious combination.
The Pisang Pisang was another highlight. The crispy banana nuggets and soft banana cake were a match made in heaven, and the spiced apple and walnuts added a nice crunch. I also couldn’t resist the Profiterole Tower. It looked stunning and tasted even better with its creamy filling, fresh fruits, and silky vanilla custard.
However, I did find one dessert that didn’t quite live up to my expectations—the Cocoa Kueh Dadar. While I loved the idea of combining kueh dadar with chocolate, I felt the coconut filling overpowered the chocolate flavor. It’s still enjoyable, but I wished the chocolate had a stronger presence.
