SGMY’s Review Of Trovato Singapore
Trovato offers a nice mix of Italian classics, and some dishes really stood out to me. One of my favorites was the Grilled Octopus. It was perfectly tender and went so well with the squid ink aioli.
I also really enjoyed the Truffle Risotto. The truffle oil and cream sauce gave it a rich, earthy flavor that was just delicious.
If you like a bit of spice, the Spicy Crab Pizza is a must-try. The sambal aioli adds a nice kick, and the fresh crab meat made it even better.
The Italian Meatballs were hearty and comforting, with the parmigiana cheese giving it a nice flavor boost.
However, if I had to pick a dish that didn’t work as well for me, it would be the Ricotta Ravioli. The pasta itself was cooked nicely, but the pumpkin butternut sauce was a bit too sweet and overpowered the delicate taste of the ricotta.
One more standout dish was the Scallops In Shell. They were baked just right, and the creamy mayo and caviar on top added that extra special touch.
Overall, Trovato has a great menu with plenty of delicious options and just a few minor misses. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re craving Italian food with a bit of a twist.
