SGMY’s Review Of Shabu Sai
As a foodie who loves a good hot pot, I recently visited Shabu Sai, and here’s my take on the experience.
The selection of meats at Shabu Sai is impressive. From tender beef slices to succulent pork collar and fresh seafood like salmon and king tiger prawns, there’s something for every palate. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, ensuring a delicious and satisfying meal every time. I particularly enjoyed dipping the meats and seafood into their flavorful soup bases, especially the sukiyaki and tonkotsu broths, which added depth and richness to the hot pot experience.
The vegetable selection is also commendable, with a variety of options ranging from crisp Hong Kong kailan to hearty shiitake mushrooms and crunchy long cabbage. These fresh and vibrant vegetables complemented the meats and added a healthy touch to the meal.
While most of the menu items were delightful, I found the fish balls to be a bit lacking in flavor and texture. They were a tad too soft for my liking and didn’t hold up well in the hot pot.
Overall, Shabu Sai offers a fantastic hot pot dining experience with its wide range of high-quality ingredients and flavorful soup bases. It’s a great place to gather with friends and family for a cozy and interactive meal.
