I recently visited Oldtown White Coffee Malaysia and had an enjoyable experience trying various items from their menu. As a local Malaysian foodie, I appreciate the mix of traditional flavors and modern twists they offer.
I started with the Nasi Lemak with Chicken Curry. The rice was fragrant, the sambal had the perfect kick, and the chicken curry was rich and flavorful. It was a great way to start the meal. Next, I tried the Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun. The noodles were silky smooth, and the broth was comforting and delicious. The tender chicken slices added a nice touch to this classic dish.
For something a bit different, I went for the Hainanese Chicken Chop Rice. The chicken chop was crispy and well-seasoned, paired perfectly with the flavorful rice. The BBQ Chicken & Fried Wantan Dry Egg Noodles was another hit, with the combination of savory BBQ chicken and crispy wantans making every bite delightful.
I also had the Kaya & Butter Toast, a simple yet satisfying choice. The toast was crispy, and the kaya spread was rich and buttery. For drinks, I couldn’t resist trying their White Coffee Latte (Hot) and the Roasted Oolong Pandan Iced Milk Tea. The hot latte was smooth and aromatic, while the iced milk tea was refreshing and had a lovely pandan flavor.
The only downside was the BBQ Chicken with Flavored Rice. The chicken was slightly dry, and the flavors didn’t stand out as much as the other dishes.
