SGMY’s Review Of Monster Planet
I recently visited Monster Planet, a great spot for Japanese curry lovers in Singapore. Their menu has many choices, and I tried a few dishes.
First, I had the Monster Combo Curry. It came with chicken katsu, beef shabu-shabu, shrimp tempura, fried fish, and cheese. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the curry sauce was delicious. The chicken katsu was crispy and juicy, and the beef shabu-shabu was very tender.
I also tried the Beef Shabu-Shabu Omelette Curry. The beef was soft, and the omelette was fluffy. The curry had a rich flavor that I loved. The Jumbo Ebi & Curry Ramen Set was another favorite. The ramen noodles were springy, and the three jumbo shrimp were cooked just right.
For dessert, I had the Chocolaty Banana Honey Toast. It was amazing. The Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream, banana, and chocolate fudge on honey toast were perfect together. It was a sweet and tasty end to my meal.
One dish I wasn’t too impressed with was the Matcha with Azuki Beans Honey Toast. While the presentation was beautiful, the matcha flavor was a bit too strong for my taste, and it overpowered the other ingredients. However, this might be perfect for those who love intense matcha flavors.
