SGMY’s Review of Kelim Dakdoritang Singapore
I had the chance to try Kelim Dakdoritang Restaurant Singapore, and I must say, the flavors were delightful! The Dakdoritang, their spicy chicken stew, was rich and satisfying with its perfectly spiced broth and tender chicken pieces. It’s a must-try if you enjoy bold, hearty dishes. The Jab Chae was another highlight for me. The chewy glass noodles with a mix of veggies had a comforting home-cooked taste that I couldn’t get enough of.
The Seafood Pancake was crispy on the outside and packed with fresh prawns and squid on the inside—just the right dish to share with friends. Their Cheese Gyeranjjim, a steamed egg dish with cheese, was creamy and indulgent, making it a great side to pair with the mains. I also enjoyed the Hotteok, a sweet pancake filled with brown sugar and nuts; it was the perfect dessert to end the meal.
However, I wasn’t completely blown away by the Ramyeon with Chicken. While the noodles were cooked well, the broth felt a little plain compared to the other dishes. It didn’t have the depth of flavor I was expecting, but it’s still a decent option for those who prefer milder tastes.
Overall, Kelim Dakdoritang has a fantastic variety of dishes that bring out the best of Korean cuisine. I’d happily return to try more of their menu and enjoy the comforting flavors again.
