SGMY’s Review of Dragon-i
I recently visited Dragon-i and had a fantastic experience trying their menu items. As a local foodie, I appreciate good Chinese cuisine, and Dragon-i did not disappoint.
I started with the Chilled Spicy Chicken in Szechuan Style, which had just the right amount of heat to wake up my taste buds. The Shanghainese Steamed Meat Dumplings were juicy and flavorful, making them a perfect dim sum choice. Next, I tried the La Mian with Shanghainese Deep-fried Pork Chop. The noodles were tender, and the pork chop was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
One of my favorites was the Crispy Pan-fried La Mian with Seafood and Vegetables. The crispy noodles combined with the fresh seafood and vegetables created a delightful texture and taste. The Shanghainese Egg and Veg Fried Rice with Pork Chop was another highlight, offering a satisfying mix of flavors.
For a comforting touch, I had the Double-Boiled Chicken Soup. It was rich in flavor and very soothing. The Sauteed Sea Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk was simply irresistible, with the savory sauce complementing the fresh prawns perfectly.
However, not everything was perfect. The Steamed Pandan Lotus Paste Buns were a bit underwhelming. The filling was not as flavorful as I had hoped, and the texture was slightly off.
Overall, my experience at Dragon-i was positive. The variety and quality of dishes were impressive, and the minor flaw with the buns did not overshadow the fantastic meal. Dragon-i is definitely a spot I would recommend to anyone craving delicious Chinese food in Malaysia.
