SGMY’s Review of Daseo
Having recently visited Daseo, I was excited to dive into their array of Korean-inspired dishes. The ambiance was lively, with a bustling atmosphere that added to the dining experience.
I started with the Crispy Crave Chicken Croffle, a delightful fusion of crispy chicken on a savory croffle. The combination of textures and flavors was outstanding, and it left me craving for more. The Classic Shimson Stew was another highlight, with its rich broth and assortment of fresh ingredients, creating a comforting and satisfying dish.
Moving on to the mains, I tried the Korean Fried Chicken Wings with Cheese, which were crispy and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the melted cheese topping. The Bento was also impressive, offering a variety of flavors with the spicy stir-fried topokki chicken, Korean fried chicken wings, and fried seafood mandu.
However, not all dishes lived up to expectations. The Jjajangmyeon fell short, with the black bean sauce lacking depth of flavor and the noodles slightly overcooked. It was a disappointment amidst an otherwise enjoyable meal.
On the beverage side, the Lemon Jelly Tea was a refreshing choice, with the tangy sweetness of the lemon jelly perfectly balancing the drink.
Overall, my experience at Daseo was mostly positive. The diverse menu, vibrant ambiance, and friendly service made it a memorable dining experience. However, improvements could be made in certain dishes to ensure consistency across the board. Despite this, I would still recommend Daseo to anyone looking for delicious Korean-inspired cuisine in Malaysia.
