SGMY’s Review of Curry Times Singapore
If you’re a fan of local curry dishes, Curry Times is a great place to satisfy your cravings. I recently tried a few dishes from their menu, and I have to say, the Signature Curry Chicken stood out the most. The curry was rich and aromatic, without the heaviness of coconut milk, which made it feel lighter but still packed with flavor.
I paired it with the prata, and the combination was just heavenly. The prata was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for soaking up the delicious curry.
Another dish I enjoyed was the Dry Laksa Goreng. The noodles were coated in a fragrant laksa paste, and the mix of chicken, prawn, and egg added a nice variety of textures and flavors. It was spicy, savory, and incredibly satisfying.
The Nasi Lemak with Crispy Chicken Wing is also a crowd favorite. The chicken wings were super crispy, and the rice was fragrant and well-cooked, just like a good nasi lemak should be.
However, not everything was perfect. I tried the Curry Beef with Pineapple and Tomato, and while the beef was tender, I felt the pineapple was a bit overpowering. It added too much sweetness to the dish, which didn’t quite balance well with the savory curry. I think the dish could benefit from a bit more spice to cut through the sweetness.
Overall, Curry Times offers a great selection of comforting local dishes that hit the spot.
I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy some classic Singaporean flavors!
