SGMY’s Review of Banh Mi Saigon Singapore
If you’re craving delicious Vietnamese food in Singapore, Bánh Mì Saigon is a must-visit! Their menu is full of tasty options, but there are a few standouts you definitely shouldn’t miss.
First, the Special Great Banh Mi Cha Lua is one of my favorites. The pork ham inside the crispy baguette pairs so well with the fresh veggies. It’s simple, but always hits the spot. Another one I love is the Roaster Pork. The roasted pork is super crispy and flavorful, making it the perfect filling for the baguette.
For those who like rice, I highly recommend the Xoi Man. The sticky rice with pork, egg, and veggies is so comforting and filling. It’s a great choice if you want something savory and hearty. If you’re a fan of BBQ flavors, the Banh Mi Thit Nuong with grilled pork is a must-try. The smoky BBQ pork combined with fresh herbs gives it a unique, mouth-watering taste.
If you’re in the mood for something light and crispy, try the Cha Gio (Vietnamese spring rolls). They’re crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of flavor.
As for drinks, their Ca Phe Den Da (iced dark coffee) is perfect for coffee lovers. It’s strong, refreshing, and packs a punch.
The only dish I wasn’t too crazy about was the Banh Mi Pha Lau Heo. While the pork intestines and ears are a unique choice, the flavor was a bit too intense for my taste. But if you enjoy more adventurous flavors, it might be for you.
Overall, Bánh Mì Saigon is a fantastic spot for authentic Vietnamese food, and I’ll definitely be back for more!
