SGMY’s Review Of Abundance
So, I went to this place called Abundance, and let me tell you, it was like hitting the food jackpot!
The smell of fresh buns and sizzling rice dishes greeted me as soon as I walked in. First up, I tried their Gua Bao, braised pork belly stuffed into soft buns with peanuts, pickles, and cilantro. It was like a flavor explosion in my mouth, seriously good stuff. Then, I had to try their CCB (Crispy Chicken Bun), crispy fried chicken thigh with mango slaw and this tasty peanut butter Thai sauce. It was crunchy, sweet, and spicy, all at once.
Moving on to the rice dishes, I went for the Niu Yolk, beef fats fried rice with slow-cooked beef short ribs and a runny onsen egg on top. It was like comfort food on steroids, so satisfying! And don’t even get me started on their Crab Fried Rice – big, juicy crab meat all mixed up with fragrant rice. It was seafood heaven!
I also checked out their seasonal specials. The Herbal Braised Pork Rice was something else, tender pork belly, sesame egg, and Taiwanese garlic sausage all in one bowl. It was like a flavor party in my mouth!
To finish off, I tried their Prawn Toast, crispy toast with yummy prawn paste and greens. Overall, my experience at Abundance was awesome. The food was amazing, the vibe was chill, and I left feeling like I hit the foodie jackpot!
