SGMY’s Review of 88 Pocha Singapore

Hey foodies! If you’re craving a fun Korean food experience, 88 Pocha is definitely a spot you should check out. Their menu is packed with mouth-watering options, and here’s a rundown of my favorites.

First off, their corn cheese is a total winner. It’s cheesy, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet from the corn—perfect as a starter or a side. The kimchi pancake is another gem. It’s crispy on the outside and filled with tangy, flavorful kimchi that just bursts in your mouth.

I also really enjoyed the seafood pancake. It’s packed with fresh seafood and has a nice, crispy texture that makes every bite enjoyable.

For a main dish, the stir-fried spicy pork is fantastic. It’s spicy, savory, and the pork is tender—definitely a crowd-pleaser. I also loved the sweet and sour pork. The pork is crispy, and the sweet and tangy sauce is absolutely delicious.

And if you’re a fan of spicy dishes, the spicy cheese dakgalbi is a must-try. It’s rich with cheese and has a nice spicy kick that keeps you coming back for more.

However, I have to be honest about the mussel soup. While it has a lot of potential, it was a bit bland and didn’t quite pack the punch I was expecting. It’s not bad, but compared to the other standout dishes, it fell a little short.

Overall, 88 Pocha offers a great selection of Korean favorites with a few standout dishes that you’ll want to go back for.

It’s definitely a spot where you can enjoy some hearty and flavorful Korean comfort food!
